This Victorian cottage is in a peaceful village within walking distance of Hawes. In a sunny position, it has beautiful views across upper Wensleydale. The cottage is welcoming and comfortable, with antiques and country furniture, exposed beams and a cosy Victorian open fire. There is a sheltered enclosed yard at the rear. From the cottage there is direct access to a network of footpaths providing leisurely walks, as well as more challenging ones. It is also an ideal location for fishing, cycling and paragliding. In the centre of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, many visitor attractions are within easy reach. Hawes is a busy little market town with excellent shops, restaurants, pubs, banks, museum and weekly market. Christmas and New Year, weekly bookings only, changeover day Wednesday.
