Description
Nearly two hundred years old, built of stone and with beamed ceilings, the cottage stands in the wooded valley leading to Cwmtydu, a small cove just south of New Quay on the National Trust coast of West Wales. The cottage nestles in what must be one of the prettiest valleys in Wales with the lane following the stream to the sea at Cwmtydu Cove. Up the road is The Crown, renowned eating place favoured by Henry Tudor when his men camped here en route to Battle of Bosworth, and a few miles further on a choice of find sandy beaches and fishing villages, among them New Quay described in Dylan Thomas' 'Under Milk Wood'. Rich in rarer bird and animal life, restful and full of character, the area offers wide variety of holiday choices.
