The cottages are very comfortable and equipped to a high standard after extensive renovation. There is a well stocked village Spar shop a short walk from the property. There are a wide of activities available which include, castles of Powis, Shrewsbury and Chirk, fishing, golf at Llanymynech Golf Club (within walking distance), steam railways at Welshpool and Llangollen, walking and horse riding. There are a number of pubs and restaurants serving good food locally.
