Skeghyll Woods with its walks and bike trails, is just yards from the door. Historic Ambleside with its galleries, shops, restaurants and museum is just a short walk away. The spectacular mountain scenery of The Langdale Pikes can be seen from Waterhead Bay. The Langdale Valley is just a sort drive away.
