2 Lodges - From the moment you arrive, you’re bound to be impressed with Artlegarth located in the heart of the magnificent Cumbrian countryside with magnificent panoramic views across Wild Boar Fell and the Howgills. You will be impressed by the lodges themselves too, they are constructed from the very finest Danish Pine logs with a local stone base and slate roof and blend sympathetically into their surroundings. It goes without saying they are spacious and well equipped. Central heating makes them warm and snug in the winter months. The lodges have a country cottage feel to them. The Fells and footpaths that surround Artlegarth are a paradise for walking and cycling, whether your idea of a good walk is a stiff mountain climb or a meander along a gentle valley. Walkers can access the hills direct from Artlegarth. The Howgills offer unrivalled walking with spectacular views in an un-crowded area. Only weekly bookings at Christmas & New Year, weeks beginning 22nd - 29th Dec and 29th - 5th jan.
