The Old School is set at the edge of the tranquil village of Toller Porcorum in a conservation area by the River Hooke valley in Thomas Hardy's beloved Dorset countryside which is within easy reach of the beautiful Heritage Coast, with beautiful views of the open countryside. Old School Cottage, The Upper School, The Lower School and The Little School are situated in an ideal centre for visiting such places as Burton Bradstock (8 miles), West Bay/Bridport (8 miles), Beaminster (8 miles) and Dorchester (11 miles). Weymouth, Lyme Regis and Abbotsbury, with its famous swannery and tropical gardens are all within the surrounding area including Eggardon Hill, just 2 miles away. The neighbouring village of Maiden Newton has a bakery, grocery shop, public house and garage. Originally converted from The Old School, The Lower School (ground floor) and The Upper School (first floor) have both recently been refurnished to a high standard.
