Set in a beautiful valley in the heart of the Exmoor National Park, the cottage is a stone’s throw from the open moorland of Winsford Hill with its lovely walks, wild Exmoor ponies and red deer. Tarr Steps, the famous prehistoric clapper bridge across the River Barle, is down the lane with a delightful inn and restaurant. Picture-postcard Winsford and the charming town of Dulverton are a short drive. There are riding stables nearby and surfing and swimming beaches on the North Devon Coast or just laze in the back garden, which is fully enclosed with a good sized lawn and lovely, secluded, south-facing patio.
