There is a village shop, two pubs and a hotel all very close to both apartments. There are also two beaches within a few minutes walk of the property, going through the village towards Seahouses there is a stoney beach and out through the back of the village across a field one reaches the sand dunes and a marvelous view of Dunstanburgh Castle. Beadnell village has an outdoor sports centre for windsurfing, canoeing and sea fishing. There is a childrens playground in Beadnell and several fine golf courses nearby. A lovely coastal footpath links Bamburgh Castle with Alnmouth from which views of the Farne Islands, offshore and Bamburgh Castle to the north can be viewed.
