Description
The cottage is located within the village of Glaisdale, on the edge of the North Moors national park. The Park covers an area of five hundred miles, comprising of high moorland and lovely villages. It is a popular destination for walkers, and holidaymakers of all ages. August and september are the prettiest when the heather is full of purple spendour. Historically the cottage was the village tailors workplace and home for over fifty years. The construction is of chiselled sandstone blocks which are 18in thick, and it has a tiled roof. Internally the rooms have been sypathetically dectorated to retain the cottage feel.
