At Keeper's Cottage, visitors will find high quality holiday cottage accommodation for 4 in an unspoiled North York Moors National Park working farm village. We are inspected annually by the English Tourist Council under their Quality Assurance Scheme and this year hold their 3 star rating. Visitors are very welcome to sit in the orchard - a most relaxing occupation on warm summer evenings. The orchard has apple and plumb trees together with bushes of gooseberries, and red and black currants. There is a paved area for a portable barbecue which may be borrowed on request. Keepers Cottage is attached to the owner's home and is set in spacious lawned grounds, shared with the owner. The lounge overlooks a paddock in which sheep are usually grazing, together with lambs in springtime. A second paddock behind the cottage provides the cottage with a quiet and peaceful location, although only a few yards from Gillamoor's central village green and the 'Royal Oak' country pub & resturant.
