Description
Glan-Dwyryd is a detached, white-washed, stone cottage standing in the valley that runs below Ffestiniog. From the private parking bay the garden entrance leads down stone steps to the cottage, which is thus nicely secluded from the sound and sight of passing traffic. On the ground floor the conservatory looks out over a stream. It is framed by woodland which all comes within the Snowdonia Reserve, all this natural beauty creates a tranquil setting and stunning views. The garden is small but full of colour. Excellent walks are to be had from the cottage and it provides a good base to explore the many attractions of the area. The best beach of the locality (25 mins by car)is that at Harlech which offers safe bathing and miles of golden sands. Definitely worth a visit is the famous village of Portmeirion, which is close by and designed to resemble an Italian village. 30% deposit to be paid directly to the owner
