Welcombe is easily accessible from the A39 between Hartland and Kilkhampton close to the Cornish border, many of the tourist attractions in the area, including local beauty spots, ideal for children and adults alike, yet remaining a quiet and unspoilt part of Devon. Being the only caravan on the farm, it is situated in a secluded spot behind the hay barn with its own garden area and far reaching views over farmland to Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor and the sea. Welcombe Mouth, some 2 miles, is a small cove with rugged rocks, cliffs and good surfing, having a sandy beach at low tide and safe bathing. For the more energetic, the cliff walks offer the breath-taking scenery of the North Devon coastline. Welcombe Post Office and General Store caters for day to day needs, whilst Kilkhampton, a small Cornish village, is 4 miles providing greater shopping choice. Welcombe Cross Restaurant is within easy walking distance.
