Description
Honey Cottage nestles firmly in the heart of the old village, a minute's walk away from the harbour and close to shops and restaurants. The Cottage has been in the Honey family for over a hundred years. What is now Jim's room was once the sail loft where Jim Honey kept all his fishing gear. You can see his photograph in the lounge. One of the beauties of Port Isaac is that it is perfectly place for touring. Set yourself up for the day with a pre-breakfast stroll down to the harbour where you might see the fishing boats setting out. After breakfast, you'll be heading for the coast path or the beach, either nearby Port Gaverne or, perhaps, Polzeath, (5 miles away) one of the finest, safest surfing beaches on the North Cornish coast. And there are fishing trips, riding, and golf at the famous St Enedoc course, all close by.
