Only a few minutes walk from the sea The Haven is a small semi-detached Edwardian cottage of great character, ideal for a couple or for smaller families. It stands halfway down The Londs, a narrow little road with restricted vehicle access, between the clifftops and the village centre. The cottage is protected from this quiet road by a tall flint wall with an arched wooden entrance gate from the road to the garden. The beach below the cliffs is popular for its wide uncrowded sands. The village has some exceptional late Victorian and Edwardian houses, excellent inland and coastal walks, local crabs, Post Office, restaurant, clifftop cafe and small mini-market. Regular bus services linking Overstrand to other coastal spots.
