A listed stone cottage at the seaward end of a short terrace, built in 1862, 50 yards from famous Chesil Beach. Perfect for two couples. Ideally situated for lovely walks, bird watching, sailing and other water sports in the harbour, beach fishing, Chesil Cove is a well known dive site, or just a chance to relax and watch the gulls go by. Portland is wonderful in spring and summer and our wood burning stove ensures comfortable evenings in autumn and winter. The cottage has a small rear yard and a large walled enclosure for sunbathing and parking if necessary (parking is usually available close by) Portland has many restaurants and take-aways and our local has stunning views across Lyme Bay.
