Ringstead is an attractive small hamlet on the coast about 7 miles from Weymouth & Dorchester. On the Dorset heritage coast, it is designated an area of 'Outstanding Natural Beauty' and 'Special Scientific Interest' and has now become a new World Heritage Site, much of the cliff & farmland is owned by the National Trust. Coast Path Cottage is 100 yds from the sea at the entrance to the small, private Creek Caravan Site. It's a curious wooden bungalow dating from the 1920's, providing fully equipped comfortable accommodation for up to 9 adults and children. There is also a pleasant, and sheltered, paved patio which often becomes a real sun-trap for barbecues and outdoor breakfasts etc. Ringstead is a truly magical spot and is ideally placed for exploring the very best of Dorset.
