Rose Cottage (sleeps 6 + cot) and Ivy Cottage (sleeps 2) both of which are situated in the grounds of the country pub, owned by the proprietors, on the edge of the hamlet of Roston, which is approximately 10 minutes drive from Ashbourne (gateway to Dovedale) on the edge of the Peak District. It is also approximately a 10-minurte drive from Uttoxeter with its racecourse and golf course. A little further on are Burton-On-Trent with its Bass museum of brewing, Lichfield with its famous Cathedral and Sudbury with its museum of Childhood at Sudbury Hall. Within easy reach are Alton Towers, Drayton Manor Park, Stoke-On-Trent with its factory shops and the Staffordshire moorlands.
