Saint Magnus Haven, a pretty detached single storey cottage for two, is situated a stones throw from the sea and has spectacular sea views from both the sitting and bedroom windows. An ideal retreat for relaxation, the cottage has an open fire, oil fired heating, a well equipped kitchen/dining area leading into a private sunny verandah and walled garden. For a more active holiday the idyllic conservation village of Pennan is within reach of surfing, sailing, bird watching, many fine golf courses, fishing, castles and whisky distilleries. Midway between Banff and Fraserburgh, set at the foot of spectacular cliffs, it has a small harbour, inn, and the red telephone box, as featured in the Burt Lancaster film Local Hero. Only weekly bookings accepted over Christmas & New Year.
